PRN REGISTERED NURSE
A Path of Care Home Health in Tulsa, OK is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) - On-Call to provide skilled, compassionate care to patients in their homes. What You'll Do as a PRN On-Call RN
As a Registered Nurse, you play a vital role in assessing patient needs and delivering timely, skilled care during on-call hours. Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting patient visits to assess nursing needs
  • Completing initial evaluation visits and developing individualized plans of care
  • Performing ongoing comprehensive assessments and revising care plans as needed
  • Providing skilled nursing treatments and educating patients and caregivers on disease processes, self-care, and prevention
  • Initiating preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as ordered
  • Preparing clinical and progress notes and coordinating services
  • Communicating directly with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Re-evaluating patient needs and assisting with discharge planning
  • Supervising LPNs, vocational nurses, and home health aides when needed
  • Practicing infection control and reporting any signs of abuse
  • Assisting with office tasks and new-nurse orientation when required

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
  • Active RN license in Oklahoma
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience
  • CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
  • Ability to travel long distances and adapt to changing schedules
  • Home health, critical care, or emergency room experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills, calm under pressure, organized, and able to multitask
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
