Clinch Valley Medical Center offers modern antepartum, labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and nursery care surrounded in a close to home community. In this position, the Registered Nurse will help guide families through one of life's biggest moments, building real connections in a warm, close-knit team.
How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:
  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

What we're looking for: Applicants must have a current Virginia state or compact state RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days
  • NRP is required within 30 days
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring is required every two years and within one year of hire
  • 6 months of previous Labor and Delivery experience preferred
