Encompass Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in San Dimas, California.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. This is a full-time position operating on a standard 8-hour shift, 5 days a week schedule.

Please note: This role requires mandatory on-call rotation, and working every other weekend may be required.

Key Responsibilities & Experience

  • Provide high-quality nursing care within the surgical suite, with a strong focus on Ortho and ENT procedures.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient charting and care documentation.
  • Participate fully in the department's on-call schedule and weekend rotations as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • License: Current and valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Basic Life Support: Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon hire.
  • Advanced Life Support: Current ACLS (AHA) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Pediatric Life Support: Current PALS (AHA) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Note: All certifications must be maintained throughout employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification from the AORN.
