PRN
The Patient Service Representative is responsible for administrative duties and front office processes in the wound care clinic. Collects co-pays, obtains authorizations and posts charges, and facilitates the referral process for the patient. Coordinates office services and related activities. Follows set programs for the maximum utilization of services. Must have knowledge of general health care issues, trends and quality management. Responsible for scheduling for the clinic, monitoring clinic numbers, generating and interpreting daily and weekly productivity reports. Responsible for work processes of the department as well as daily operations. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent GED
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Associates Degree from an accredited school or college. Completion of Medical Office Assistant Program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years of medical office experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 4 years medical office experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NA
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Healthcare management/administration certification.
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): NA
