Job Description: Patient Accounts Specialist Monday-Friday 5:00AM-1:30PM
The Patient Accounts Specialist manages Medicare billing and collections, including verifying medical insurance, processing reimbursements, correcting cash posting errors, and handling denials and appeals. Additional duties include, validating codes and charges are correct, preparing and submitting claims according to Medicare payer guidelines, and ensuring accurate and timely claim submissions.
Qualifications
Experience:
2+ years medical insurance billing and collections experience.
Education:
High School or equivalent.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrates knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections.
  • Experience with denials and appeals.
  • Excel and data entry systems experience.
