Position Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality financial support to drive business decisions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, sales tax reports, and other regulatory filings as required.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and company internal controls.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting issues.
  • Assist with audits (internal and external) by providing necessary documentation and support.


Qualifications and Requirements


  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred).
  • 13 years of accounting experience (entry-level candidates with strong internships will be considered).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, GAAP, and tax regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
