• Provide individualized psychotherapy to clients dealing with mental health challenges related to substance abuse, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and formulate comprehensive treatment plans that aim for successful outcomes in their recovery journey.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, tailoring your approach to each client's unique experience and recovery goals.
• Maintain meticulous and compliant clinical records to track progress and ensure high standards of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide integrated care and optimize client outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health resources and coping strategies related to substance abuse, fostering a supportive environment during treatment.
• Stay informed about the latest research in substance abuse and mental health, integrating new findings into your clinical practice.
• Effectively manage your caseload to meet treatment goals while upholding the highest ethical standards in social work practice.

At Clarity Pathways Counseling, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals facing a range of substance use disorders. Our clients may possess varying backgrounds and experiences, making it essential to approach each case with sensitivity, cultural competence, and an understanding of the complexities surrounding addiction and recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Texas is required.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience, ideally focusing on therapy for substance abuse.
• Strong knowledge of solution-focused interventions and the ability to adapt your practice to meet client needs.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills to work effectively within a team-centered environment.

While the minimum requirement is one year of clinical experience, we value candidates with additional experience that includes exposure to a variety of therapeutic modalities and a track record of successful patient outcomes. An understanding of integrated treatment approaches for individuals with dual diagnoses is also preferred.
