Overnight Technician โ€“ Join Our Compassionate Care Team!

At Bright Paths Recovery, we believe in compassionate, client-centered care around the clock. We are currently seeking a dedicated Overnight Technician (Resident Aide)
to join our dynamic treatment team. This critical role supports clients through detox and recovery during overnight hoursโ€”ensuring safety, structure, and comfort as they begin their healing journey.

What You'll Do

As an Overnight Technician, you will be an essential part of the recovery process by:

  • Monitoring detox clients every 30 minutes to ensure health and safety
  • Conducting client intakes including paperwork, orientation, and screenings (CIWAS/COWS, UA/BA)
  • Supervising medication calls and performing drug testing
  • Assisting with crisis identification and behavioral monitoring
  • Accurately documenting shift notes and client progress
  • Conducting property searches in accordance with program standards
  • Supporting transportation or emergency needs when required
  • Upholding professional boundaries, confidentiality, and a trauma-informed approach.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) programs (preferred)
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire)
  • Ability to conduct detox monitoring and respond to crises
  • Knowledge of recovery support systems (Smart Recovery, 12-Step, etc.)
  • Clean background check and TB test
  • Strong communication skills and cultural competency
  • Active RADT or equivalent
