Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations that include reviewing patient histories, conducting assessments, and documenting results to form effective treatment plans.
  • Communicate evaluation findings and treatment goals with patients and their families, ensuring their active participation in goal setting and progress tracking.
  • Implement treatment protocols effectively tailored to patients' needs based on evaluations and continuously monitor their health progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, adapting treatment plans in response to changes in patient conditions, ensuring timely referrals for additional consultations as necessary.
  • Manage all documentation and patient care activities, producing clear and accurate records such as initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, progress summaries, and discharge plans.
  • Maintain an organized schedule and meet productivity expectations while actively participating in hospital and community outreach initiatives to promote health and wellness.
  • Engage in departmental goals and objectives, complying with relevant regulations and those required for accreditation.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities, enhancing skills and knowledge for personal growth.
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience by being flexible, adapting to patients’ needs, and supporting team efforts in improving access to care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic is diverse, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain ailments. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in guiding each patient on their recovery journey, promoting mobility, and enhancing their overall quality of life through evidence-based practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current Physical Therapy license required based on the Virginia regulations for practice.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association is mandatory.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
