Pathology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $139.68 - $151.20

This facility is seeking a Pathology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.  


Details and requirements for this opportunity: 

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AMโ€“5:00 PM onsite, plus night and weekend call.


Practice Setting: Inpatient/hospital-based pathology laboratory


Types of Cases: Surgical pathology and cytopathology, including frozen section analysis, rapid onsite examination of cytology specimens, surgical pathology sign-out, and cytopathology sign-out.


Patient Load/Volume: Approximately 9,800 surgical pathology cases, 1,375 cytopathology cases, 544 fine-needle aspiration cases, and 294 frozen section cases annually.


Credentialing Timeframe: Not specified; temporary privileges available


Electronic Medical Record: Epic


Certifications Required: Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology required


Licensure Required: Active New Jersey license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
