Your future role at a glance

Location: Neenah, WI 

Facility: Ascension Main Street Clinic

Department: Phlebotomy

Schedule: Days | PRN

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Serve as a vital link in patient care by safely and accurately collecting blood and other specimens, ensuring the integrity of samples for precise diagnostic testing.
  • Coordinate travel and logistics to provide consistent, high-quality phlebotomy services across all 12 designated clinic locations, ensuring seamless coverage for the system.
  • Manage the entire specimen process-from patient identification and collection to processing, accessioning, and secure transport-to guarantee timely and accurate lab results that guide treatment decisions.
  • Ensure a safe and compliant environment by meticulously maintaining and cleaning equipment, and providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth department operations and accurate patient record-keeping.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certification specializing in Phlebotomy credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) preferred.
  • Phlebotomy Tech preferred.
  • Medical Laboratory Assistant credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) preferred.
  • Medical Laboratory Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) preferred.
  • Tech credentialed from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians preferred. All issuing authorities accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
