Create tailored treatment plans to meet both immediate and ongoing speech, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
Engage in one-on-one therapy sessions to address challenges in communication, language, fluency, and swallowing functions.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to deliver integrated care.
Educate patients and families to facilitate progress beyond clinical encounters.
Participate in occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and treatments, ensuring comprehensive care throughout the rehabilitation process.
Document patient progress and treatment adherence meticulously in accordance with relevant guidelines.
Remain informed about the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through continuous learning and teamwork.
Earned a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet ASHA-certified.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods catering to all age groups while addressing both developmental and acquired disorders.
