Location: Beaumont, TX
Starting Pay: $18/hour with career growth up to $30/hour
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night/weekend)

No rail experience required just a strong work ethic and the drive to learn.


Why This Role Is a Game Changer

This isn't your typical job. Youll start by learning the ropes as a Switchman working hands-on with a close-knit crew to move railcars safely and efficiently. From there, you can advance to Conductor ($23$25/hr), Engineer ($24$26/hr), and beyond.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Working outdoors in all weather
  • Walking up to 6 miles per shift
  • Climbing railcars, coupling and uncoupling them
  • Following strict safety protocols no shortcuts, no exceptions
  • Communicating by radio and hand signals
  • Learning to think like a strategist train movement is a puzzle, and youre the problem-solver
