Paid Training | $30+ Per Hour | Career Path to Switch Operator, Conductor & Locomotive Engineer

A leading railroad transportation operation in Central Massachusetts is seeking motivated individuals to join its Rail Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates from a variety of backgrounds who are looking to build a stable, long-term career with advancement opportunities.

Successful candidates will receive paid training and have the opportunity to advance into Switch Operator, Conductor, and Locomotive Engineer positions.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with rail yard operations and train movements
  • Operate rail switches and other railroad equipment
  • Couple and uncouple railcars
  • Inspect railcars, tracks, and equipment to ensure safe operations
  • Communicate with train crews and operations personnel
  • Work as part of a team to safely move railcars throughout the facility
  • Follow all company and railroad safety procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Comfortable performing physical work and walking on uneven terrain
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in construction, transportation, warehousing, manufacturing, military service, heavy equipment operation, or related fields is a plus
  • Previous railroad experience is welcome but not required
