Job description

The Parish Missionary serves the parish by forming disciples of Jesus Christ and equipping parishioners for evangelization. The Parish Missionary focuses on relational ministry, small group discipleship, and leadership development. The Parish Missionary works to build a culture of evangelization in the parish, helping parishioners grow in prayer, sacramental life, authentic friendship, and apostolic zeal.

Responsibilities

Evangelization and Outreach

  • Initiate and cultivate relationships with parishioners, especially those disengaged from parish life.
  • Conduct intentional outreach to young adults, young families, and other target groups as identified by the Pastor.
  • Invite individuals into deeper participation in the sacramental and communal life of the
  • Promote a welcoming and missionary parish

Discipleship and Small Groups

  • Lead Bible studies and small discipleship
  • Mentor individuals one-on-one in prayer, virtue, and apostolic
  • Form parishioners to become disciple-makers who can lead their own small
  • Provide training in Scripture, Catholic teaching, prayer, and evangelization

Leadership Development

  • Identify and invest in emerging leaders within the
