Title of Position: Lead Pastor (Full-Time)

Church Name: Holliday Alliance Church

Church Location: Middlebury Center, PA

Description of Church's Location: Holliday Alliance Church is located in Middlebury Center, in Tioga County in Pennsylvania’s Northern Tier, with rolling farmland and forests near the towns of Mansfield and Wellsboro and near the New York border. This rural community offers easy access to the Pine Creek Gorge (“PA Grand Canyon”), Hills Creek State Park, and the Tioga State Forest, making it a haven for hunting, fishing, hiking, and outdoor recreation. Mansfield University (Commonwealth University) is nearby, and Corning, NY and Elmira are both a short drive north.

Job Description: Holliday Alliance Church, with a history of over 110 years of faithful ministry in Middlebury Center, is seeking a lead pastor who will shepherd a small, close-knit, and steadily giving congregation into a season of renewal. Though attendance has declined in recent years, the congregation’s commitment to generosity has remained strong and consistent because of their love for Christ’s mission. They desire a pastor who can strengthen discipleship across generations, cultivate outreach into their rural community, and help this faithful body rediscover vitality and growth. The church has a sustained heart for global missions and values a shepherd-leader who preaches faithfully, disciples intentionally, and cares personally for the flock.

Minimum Education Level: Associate's Degree

Minimum Experience: Lay Leader, Open to first-time pastors

Minimum Credential Level: Must be willing to begin the consecration and ordination process with The Alliance

Compensation: Full-Time Salary, Parsonage Available

Church Size: Less than 50

Church Setting: Rural
