Position Summaries:
Bakery team members will cross-train in the following departments of the bakery: Joy Creator, Crafting, and Frosting. Joy Creators are the face of the business, providing exceptional guest service and creating genuine connections with the community. Crafters are responsible for decorating cakes and packaging orders aligned with required brand standards. Frosters will make frosting, frost products, and ensure daily production demands are met. Upon completion of training, team members will rotate through departments as needed, scheduling to their strengths to best support the bakery. Team Supervisors are trustworthy individuals who carry a key to the business, assist in opening/closing duties, and ensure standards are met in absence of the Bakery Manager.
Work Availability:
Currently hiring for morning and afternoon shifts. General shift times are 9:00am - 3:15pm and 3:00pm - 8:30pm, but we offer some flexibility around school schedules. Sunday shifts are 10:30am - 4:30pm. At least one day of weekend availability is required but scheduling priorities are given to those who can work as needed. Interested in candidates who are willing to work offsite events in addition to regular in-bakery shifts. Must have the flexibility to work throughout the holiday season including the weeks leading up to major holidays such as Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Benefits:
Health, dental, and vision insurance eligible to employees after (6) months of service. 401k retirement and matching eligible to employees after (1) year of service.
Work Location and Timeline:
This location is projected to open at the end of July/beginning of August. As construction can impact timeline, flexiblity is asked of hired team members around onboarding and training dates. Anticipated opening is between July 20th and August 1st.
