POSITION TITLE: PART-TIME PROGRAM PROVIDER
DEPARTMENT: FRASIER CENTER
REPORTS TO: CENTER DIRECTOR
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
WORK SCHEDULE: 185 days
DATE REVIEWED: 03/2022
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a part time hourly position. The annual period of service is 185 days.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To facilitate academic enrichment lessons that support and enhance students' learning and that are aligned with the school day instruction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervises all activities to ensure safety at all times.
  • Implement instructional experiences developed by the Afterschool Program Manager.
  • Uses a variety of instructional materials, resources, and experiences to enrich student learning.
  • Uses effective positive interpersonal communication skills.
  • Builds relationships with other teachers, building administrators, and staff to drive collaboration and program success.
  • Assists Afterschool Program Manager in daily duties and responsibilities within the school.
  • Participates in dismissal procedures, ensuring each child leave with the appropriate authorized adult.
  • Participates in recommended training programs, and other aspects of professional growth, maintaining current knowledge of early childhood practice.

SUPERVISORY REPSONSIBILITIES: Supervises students.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent and 6 months relative work experience
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job shall be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of personnel.

To perform the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, or hear. Lifting up to 30 pounds may be required on an occasional basis.
