The Position
The Maple Grove Community Center is seeking Building Maintenance personnel. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring that our patrons have a enjoyable experience while visiting the Community Center, and will perform general janitorial and maintenance duties. The position offers flexible part-time work year round in a fun, energetic, and diverse environment. Come be a part of our community!

Responsibilities
  • Basic janitorial duties.
  • Performs minor repairs and building maintenance.
  • Completes facility set-ups and tear downs for room arrangements and general up-keep of the facility under the direction of the Facility Maintenance Coordinator.
  • Performs birthday party set-ups and clean-up. Maintains cleanliness of storage area to meet Health Department regulations.
  • Attends training, staff meetings and other necessary meetings.
  • Enforces safety rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for security and emergency procedures including closing/opening the facility.
  • Completes daily log sheets, reports, checklists, and work orders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Need to have:
  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. individually and move equipment up to 175 lbs. with assistance

Nice to have:
  • Experience in performing custodial/cleaning and maintenance duties
  • Customer service experience
