Job description
Primary Work Location: 417 Wakara Way
Ideal candidate: currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related fields.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct Screening Assessments with patients to determine eligibility status for research studies. (Training provided)
2. Coordinate research activities including creating and maintaining databases. (Training provided)
3. Attend laboratory meetings and report to the group on progress of assigned duties.
4. Assist other laboratory staff in collecting biomechanics and neurophysiological data (Training provided).
5. Handle sensitive data in a professional manner that complies with all confidentiality rules and regulations.
6. Communicate clearly and effectively (both verbally and in writing) with colleagues, other members of the research team, and Principal Investigator.
7. Must be able to work independently while exhibiting a level of judgment that ensures participant safety and adherence to study protocols and procedures.
8. Flexibility in scheduling work hours around course schedule, as rates of recruitment span and fluctuate across the calendar year.
This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements.
