CAMPUS WORSHIP LEADER (Part-Time) // CROSSROADS CHURCH

The Campus Worship Leader creates and leads dynamic worship experiences for weekend services

and CR Youth at a specific campus. This role blends musical excellence, spiritual leadership, and team

development to foster environments where people are inspired to take next steps in following Jesus.

The Campus Worship Leader collaborates closely with campus and central staff, develops volunteer

teams, and ensures that worship services are executed with excellence, authenticity, and creativity.

Proficiency with Planning Center, ProPresenter, and Ableton is highly valued.


AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Worship Leadership

• Lead worship weekly at campus services and CR Youth with excellence, authenticity, and

spiritual attentiveness.

• Direct execution of service elements during weekend services or worship experiences.

• Partner with the Producer to achieve the desired "feel" for the weekend experience.

• Create and run tracks in Ableton and train musicians to use them.


Creative Collaboration

• Participate in weekly planning meetings, contributing ideas for service elements.

• Assist in the creative process for both campus and youth services.

• Partner with central worship team on projects as needed.


Volunteer Development

• Recruit, develop, and care for worship volunteers.

• Host team nights, conduct auditions, and assist with master classes.

• Lead rehearsals and provide ongoing coaching for team members.


Service Preparation and Administration

• Schedule worship team volunteers in Planning Center.

• Import song and service information in Planning Center.

• Oversee equipment and instrument upkeep at the campus.

• Work with the Worship Lead to manage budgets for hiring musicians and purchasing

equipment.


Campus and Church Engagement

• Attend campus staff huddle and all-staff huddles.

• Participate in campus life, including being present in the lobby on Sundays and helping run

discipleship opportunities.

• Take part in retreats and special events as requested by the Campus Pastor or Worship

Lead.


Additional Duties

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Campus Pastor.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS

Experience:

o 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent, relevant ministry experience.


Skills & Competencies:

o Strong musical ability (vocals + instrument preferred).

o Comfortable with Planning Center, Ableton/track playback systems, and modern

worship tech.

o Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

o Demonstrates personal integrity and lives a Christ-centered life.


Work Environment:

o Primarily indoors with occasional travel for events.

o May require occasional travel to other campuses.

o Regular exposure to high-volume sound levels (84dB+).

o Regular work schedule is Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with occasional Monday, Friday, and Saturday responsibilities for ministry events, services, and special programming.
