Position Title: Clinical Psychologist

About Our Practice

We are a patient-centered interventional pain management practice dedicated to improving quality of life through comprehensive, multidisciplinary care. Our team includes physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and support staff working collaboratively to treat chronic pain conditions with evidence-based medical and behavioral approaches.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team and provide psychological assessment and therapeutic support for patients dealing with chronic pain, injury recovery, and related behavioral health concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological evaluations for chronic pain patients
  • Perform pre-procedure and pre-surgical psychological assessments, including spinal cord stimulator
  • Provide individual psychotherapy focused on:
    • Chronic pain coping strategies
    • Anxiety and depression related to pain
    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
    • Stress management and behavioral modification
  • Collaborate closely with pain management physicians and clinical staff to develop integrated treatment plans
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions and patient care planning
  • Educate patients and families regarding the psychological aspects of chronic pain

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology
  • Active state licensure as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience working with chronic pain, rehabilitation, or medical populations preferred
  • Experience conducting psychological clearance evaluations for pain procedures is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary medical environment

Preferred Skills

  • Training in CBT, ACT, biofeedback, mindfulness, or pain-focused psychotherapy
  • Familiarity with interventional pain management treatments
  • EMR/EHR documentation experience
