Location: Stockton, CA & Modesto, CA | Schedule: 1 day per week (Mondays & Tuesdays preferred) | Compensation: $900 per visit  | Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

About The Opportunity

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environments in Central Valley California.

This is a clinic-based role where you'll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations.

The Setting

This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model.

We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics — allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality vision care.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
• Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
• Active California Optometry license

Schedule

• 2-4 days per month
• Typical hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• No nights
• No weekends
• No billing or administrative responsibilities
