Job description

Junior Fleet Mechanic (Part-Time)
Join our team as a Part-Time Junior Fleet Mechanic and play an important role in maintaining the equipment that keeps our operations running smoothly. This position will work Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM and is responsible for assisting fleet mechanics with mower and equipment repairs, changing oil, replacing and sharpening mower blades, washing equipment, and supporting overall shop cleanliness and organization.
Pay: $16 - $20 per hour, depending on experience
Requirements:
  • One or more years of repair and diagnostic experience with small engines required.
  • Experience working with landscaping equipment preferred.
  • General knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Physical requirements:
    • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
    • Ability to push and pull equipment and materials as needed.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to safely use and grasp hand and power tools.
    • Ability to perform work involving repetitive motions.
