Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $21.54 - $25.31 / hour
Summary
The SRC Resourcing Specialist will be responsible for maximizing productive shift to shift resource management for a designated Lee Health hospital. The specialist will be located on site and expected to spend significant time rounding on nursing departments to proactively gain staffing insights. Works with clinical departments and collaborates with the administrative supervisor to understand staffing needs and take action to achieve required staffing levels including cross department and cross health system floating. Assist administrative supervisor with bed placement through facilitation of hospital staffing/bed meeting and providing recommendations for most productive placements based on understanding of department staffing plans. Responsible for proper staffing allocation of scheduled core, contract traveler, SRC high demand and float pool staff across the campus as well as understanding the impact of any premium pay or econ needs. Will partner with the SRC central staffing office and other Resourcing Specialists to ensure resource management is optimized across all facilities. The specialist will utilize scheduling software/programs to monitor staffing levels, input data, communicate changes, and maintain staffing schedules. Acts as a liaison between hospital departments and SRC central staffing office. Assist both hospital and SRC central staffing office with contract traveler tracking. Ad hoc reporting as needed
Requirements
Education: Associate Degree or 2 years of formal education beyond high school required.
Experience: Previous staffing experience required. Demonstrated analytical and administrative skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel required.

License: None required
Other: Need schedule flexibility to provide adequate coverage outside of normal business hours. Basic analytical and administrative skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel required.
Computer skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Able to learn other computer programs easily and utilizes such programs on a daily basis.
Critical thinking skills: Utilizes analytical skills and strategies to increase desired performance results. Maximizes resources and anticipates outcome. Must be goal and performance driven with strong decisive work ethic and astuteness.
Customer service skills: Professional and courteous with excellent inter-personal communication skills and phone etiquette. Positive and supportive in high stress situations with other team members and stakeholders. Ability to work and communicate across functional boundaries and have strong business acumen.
Additional Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, combined with a high degree of interpersonal skills.
