Job description

Claxton Dietetic Solutions, LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide clinical nutrition services in a hospital setting in Liberty, Kentucky.

This is a part-time position requiring approximately three days of onsite coverage per week (24 hr/wk). The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and enjoy working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and complete required clinical documentation
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
  • Monitor patients' nutritional status and identify patients at nutrition risk
  • Review and address nutrition-related labs, medications, and clinical concerns as appropriate
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and meetings, as applicable
  • Provide consistent onsite clinical coverage approximately three days per week

Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian credential (CDR) required
  • Active Kentucky state licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Hospital or acute care clinical nutrition experience preferred, but not required
