Location: Travel-Based, West Michigan
Job Type: Part-time | Event-Based | Flexible Schedule
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive a box truck to transport catering equipment, food, and supplies to event locations.
  • Set up catering stations, tables, linens, and decor at event venues according to event specifications.
  • Assist in the unloading, organization, and arrangement of catering items at the event location.
  • Break down event setups at the conclusion of events and ensure all equipment is returned to the warehouse.
  • Provide support to event staff as needed during the event, ensuring service is efficient and seamless.
  • Maintain cleanliness of event areas during and after set-up, following all safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members, vendors, and clients to ensure the success of each event.
  • Ensure all catering equipment and supplies are properly secured and maintained during transport and set-up.
Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to safely drive a 16-foot box truck.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work long hours (12-16 hours per day), including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Saturday availability is a necessity 
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred.
  • ServSafe food certification preferred, but we are willing to certify the right candidate.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a diverse team.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) throughout the workday.
  • Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
