I. General Job Description


This position will be responsible for transporting parts resale from one location to another. This position provides the highest possible level of customer service and is expected to conduct business in a professional manner, including courteous on-time delivery and projecting a professional company image.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safe vehicle operating procedures and legal requirements.
  • Pull ordered parts for assigned accounts and delivers on time.
  • Pick up return parts and processes return documents.
  • Provide assistance to the Inside and Outside Parts Sales staff and management.
  • Know assigned customer accounts by learning names, understanding parts delivery expectations, and reporting to Inside and Outside Sales staff about customer purchasing practices.
  • Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers.

II. Minimum Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age.
  • High school graduate, GED, or 1 year of work experience.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment and qualified MVR abstract.

III. Desired Job Qualifications

  • 1 year direct customer facing sales experience.
  • Heavy-duty truck aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently without direct on-site supervision.
  • Basic knowledge off Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organization, communication, and phone skills.

IV. Mental Capability Requirements

  • Comprehension: Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral/written instructions and information.
  • Organization: Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.
  • Reasoning & Decision Making: Ability to apply common sense in performing job.
  • Communication: Ability to understand follow basic instructions and guidelines.
  • Mathematics: No mathematical ability is required.
