Job description

Summary: Our award-winning client is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their team. In this critical role, you will lead a team of maintenance professionals to ensure the reliability, uptime, and cost-effectiveness of our Stock Prep equipment. You will provide technical expertise, manage resources, and champion continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Stock Prep maintenance team, including supervisors, planners, millwrights, and electricians.
  • Offer technical guidance and ensure best practices are followed in equipment maintenance.
  • Work closely with Stock Prep operations leaders to understand and meet their needs.
  • Manage all aspects of equipment and maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize asset reliability, uptime, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide support for capital projects and major equipment repairs.
  • Oversee and support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Utilize reliability engineering principles and root-cause analysis to identify and address equipment and process issues.
  • Create training plans and coach hourly maintenance employees to enhance their skills.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or 5-10 years of progressive maintenance experience.
  • Proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), with SAP a plus.
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling, preventive/predictive maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Working knowledge of project management, industrial engineering, cost analysis, and employee relations.
