Parts Delivery Driver

Summit Truck Group in West Plains, Missouri is seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working, customer-oriented individual who can work in a team environment as Parts Delivery Driver. The Parts Delivery will deliver customer parts with excellent customer service; keep inventory control; maintain
safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure proper items pulled for delivery order.
  • Properly loan orders into delivery vehicle.
  • Delivery to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain proper condition of delivery vehicle and notify supervisor of any repairs needed.
  • Verify orders for correct pulls.
  • Ensure cores are returned for credit.
  • Return incorrectly ordered parts.
  • Stock shelves as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Ensure orders are delivered on time.
  • Ensure all orders are accurate before delivery.
  • Quickly resolve any erroneous parts deliveries.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Some delivery experience is preferred.
  • General knowledge of trucking industry helpful.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • General understanding of inventory management.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
