Automotive Parts CountermanDescription of the Role:

The Automotive Parts Counterman at Kansas City Hyundai is responsible for maintaining an efficient parts department by providing outstanding customer service and managing automotive parts inventory. This position is essential in ensuring service technicians and customers receive the correct parts quickly and accurately to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist retail and wholesale customers in locating and purchasing the correct automotive parts
  • Manage inventory levels and place orders to maintain adequate stock
  • Process parts orders, invoices, and related documentation accurately
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
  • Work closely with service technicians to ensure timely availability of parts
  • Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department
Requirements:
  • Previous automotive parts department experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components
