Job description

Jim Shorkey is in search of a Parts Advisor to join our team.
The Parts Advisor is responsible for Inventory accuracy, parts locations, and organization of materials throughout the dealership.
Pay: $45,000-$60,000 based on experience
Job duties include, but not limited to:
  • Work with parts manager to locate any parts, not in stock.
  • Complete special-order part request for any parts that need to be ordered for the customer.
  • Oversee the automotive parts sales process from customer inquiry to finding the part to invoicing the customer.
  • Process daily parts order with CDK scanner
  • Pull parts orders for technician and counter people.
  • Inventory and Stocking
  • Managing stock
  • Parts lookup
  • Disbursing parts to technicians
  • Waiting on retail customers

Requirements
  • Prior dealership parts and CDK experience is a huge plus.
  • Must be over 18
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean MVR
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Knowledge and understanding of inventory
  • Knowledge and understanding of receiving
  • Possess phone skills for both employee and customer interactions
  • Have basic computer skills. Training will be provided for necessary programs
  • Dealership experience not required.
