Head of Partnerships About BigGeo
BigGeo is the Spatial Cloud. We help companies manage and access the worldโs spatial data. Any size, any slice, any insight. Delivered in seconds. Weโre building something that hasnโt existed before: a new layer of the internet where the โwhereโ and โwhenโ behind every decision is instantly clear, programmable, and actionable. Our platform removes the complexity that has kept spatial data locked in silos for decades, and replaces it with speed, precision, and control. Weโre a Calgary-based company, early and moving fast, with real customers, real infrastructure, and a clear point of view on where the world is going.
Why BigGeo Exits and Why People Build Here
Most companies are spatially blind. They know what their data says, but not where or when things actually happen. That gap costs real money, creates real risk, and limits what AI can actually do in the physical world. BigGeo exists to close that gap. Weโre not building another tool. Weโre building the rails that connect the planetโs moving data to the systems that run the world. Thatโs a big problem, and it takes people who care about doing things right, not just fast.
People build here because:
- The problem is real and the category is open. Weโre not competing for the middle of an existing market. Weโre defining a new one. Your work shapes what the category becomes.
- Your fingerprints are on the architecture. Weโre at the stage where the decisions you make today become the foundation tomorrow. What you ship matters.
- We run on clarity, not politics. We move with purpose. No bureaucratic drag, just a team that agrees on the mission and gets to work.
- Youโll grow fast because the problems are hard. Spatial data at scale is a genuinely difficult domain. If you want to be stretched, youโll be stretched.
- Weโre building for longevity. Weโre not chasing hype cycles. Weโre building infrastructure, the kind that compounds in value over time and earns the trust of the companies that depend on it.
The Role
BigGeo is hiring a Head of Partnerships to build and scale strategic partnerships that accelerate growth of the Spatial Cloud. This role sits at the intersection of platform strategy, ecosystem development, commercial partnerships, and goโtoโmarket execution.
You will identify, negotiate, and grow relationships with technology providers, cloud platforms, system integrators, channel partners, spatial data organizations, AI companies, and enterprise partners that expand the reach and capabilities of the BigGeo platform.
Success in this role means creating longโterm strategic relationships that strengthen BigGeo's ecosystem, accelerate customer adoption, expand market reach, and reinforce BigGeo as the infrastructure layer for spatial intelligence. You work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to make sure every partnership creates measurable value for customers and for the Spatial Cloud ecosystem.
This role owns the global ecosystem of strategic technology, cloud, AI, and commercial partners; partner programs that create repeatable growth; joint goโtoโmarket initiatives; and the partnership frameworks that cover onboarding, governance, enablement, and success measurement. Done well, this role turns partnerships into one of BigGeo's core growth engines.
BigGeo is an inโoffice team. We build in person, think out loud, and move faster together than we ever could apart. Our Calgary office isnโt just where we work, itโs where the product gets shaped, where problems get solved on whiteboards, and where the culture gets built. We believe proximity accelerates everything: tighter feedback loops, faster decisions, and the kind of trust that only comes from showing up alongside each other every day.
Hereโs what working at BigGeo looks like dayโtoโday:
- Inโperson by default. We work together in the office, not because we have to, but because weโve seen what it produces. Collaboration here is a competitive advantage, not a checkbox.
- Flat and direct. We donโt communicate in layers. If you have an idea, a concern, or a better way to do something, say it. Weโd rather have a sharp conversation than a slow consensus.
- Async when it makes sense. Not every conversation needs a meeting. Weโre disciplined about how we use each otherโs time.
- Crossโfunctional by design. Product, engineering, data, and goโtoโmarket work closely together. There are no handโoff walls here, just shared ownership of the outcome.
- Tight feedback loops. We ship, we learn, we adjust. Speed of iteration is part of the culture, not an accident.
We take care of the people who build here. That means keeping things simple, human, and worth showing up for.
- Free refreshments and snacks, every day.
- Downtown Calgary location. Weโre right in the heart of the city, steps from a wide range of cafes, restaurants, and eateries. Lunch options are never a problem.
- Regular offโsite team activities.
- Work that compounds.
- A team that respects your time. We donโt pad schedules or manufacture urgency. When youโre here, youโre working on things that matter.

- Work daily with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership. There are no handoff walls, just shared ownership of the outcome.
- Bring market and partner intelligence back into the building early. Insight that stays in your notes doesnโt help anyone.
