Job Summary

Network Connex is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Events Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of the company's participation in national, regional, and customer-focused industry events. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of trade show and event execution, ensuring Network Connex delivers a professional, engaging, and measurable presence that supports brand awareness, customer engagement, recruiting initiatives, and sales pipeline growth.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience managing B2B trade shows and events and thrives in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, collaboration, budget management, and flawless execution are critical. Experience in the broadband, telecommunications, fiber, wireless, data center, or related infrastructure industries is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Event & Trade Show Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of Network Connex's participation in 30+ national, regional, and customer-focused industry events annually.
  • Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and make recommendations based on strategic value and business impact.
  • Manage social engagement relating to event sponsorship, speaking and attendance.
  • Coordinate, secure and maintain booth displays, promotional materials, signage, branded merchandise, and giveaways.
  • Partner with sales leaders ensuring event participation supports strategic growth initiatives.
  • Measure and report budget, event performance, lead generation, and return on investment.
  • Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and make recommendations based on strategic value and business impact.
  • Maintain a comprehensive event calendar aligned to company sales priorities.
  • Travel to key industry events and serve as the primary onsite marketing representative.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor participation, and emerging event opportunities.
  • Continuously improve event processes, tools, and measurement capabilities.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or related field preferred.

Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience managing B2B events, trade shows, conferences, and sponsorship programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, NetSuite or Salesforce.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including sales, executives, vendors, and external partners.
  • Experience measuring event performance and business impact.
  • Experience in the broadband, telecommunications, fiber, wireless, data center, digital infrastructure, or related industries preferred.
