Key responsibilities

  • Help convert leads into signed consulting contracts and manage sales pipelines within HubSpot.

  • Build and maintain relationships with organizations, schools, and partners to position ASWR as a trusted consulting partner.

Job description

About ASWR

And Still We Rise (ASWR) is a liberation-focused collective providing mental health services and equity-centered consulting to organizations, schools, and communities nationwide. Our work supports organizations in moving beyond performative equity efforts toward meaningful, sustainable systems transformation rooted in justice, healing, accountability, and collective care.

As our consulting division continues to grow, we are seeking a strategic, relationship-oriented, and results-driven Consulting Sales & Strategic Partnerships Manager to help strengthen our sales infrastructure, expand partnerships, and increase consulting revenue nationally.

Position Overview

This role is focused on consulting package sales, pipeline management, relationship advancement, and strategic growth.

You will help move organizations from initial interest to signed consulting contracts by managing sales momentum, strengthening follow-through, cultivating partnerships, and helping guide prospective clients through the sales process.

This role complements our existing Partnership Development Specialist role, which is focused more heavily on relationship cultivation, community engagement, and visibility-building. This position is more heavily focused on sales strategy, pipeline movement, package sales, and conversion.

This is intentionally not an administrative support role. Proposal formatting, RFP coordination, and operational administrative tasks are supported by other team members so this role can remain focused on relationship advancement, strategic outreach, and revenue growth.

We are looking for someone who is strategic, proactive, organized, relational, and confident in helping move opportunities toward commitment and action.

Core Responsibilities

Consulting Sales & Pipeline Management

  • Help convert leads into signed consulting contracts
  • Manage and maintain consulting sales pipelines within HubSpot
  • Conduct outreach and follow-up with prospective clients and partners
  • Track opportunities, next steps, timelines, and conversion progress
  • Identify stalled opportunities and help move conversations forward
  • Support package sales for:
    • Workplace Liberation Lab
    • EquityEd
  • Collaborate with leadership on pricing conversations and package customization

Strategic Growth & Business Development

  • Support consulting revenue growth strategy
  • Help identify new partnership and growth opportunities
  • Build systems that strengthen lead nurturing and sales conversion
  • Collaborate with leadership on long-term consulting growth planning
  • Assist with strategic follow-up after conferences, networking events, webinars, and consultations

Relationship & Partnership Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, nonprofits, organizations, and aligned partners
  • Help position ASWR as a trusted consulting partner
  • Balance relationship-building with strategic movement toward signed agreements
  • Support long-term partnership development and organizational trust-building

Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with:
    • Founder/CEO
    • Partnership Development Specialist
    • RFP/proposal support staff
    • Consulting leadership team
  • Participate in strategy and growth meetings
  • Contribute ideas that improve systems, communication, and outcomes
Who You Are

You are:

  • Strategic and highly organized
  • Strong in both relationship-building and closing
  • Comfortable taking initiative and driving momentum
  • Skilled at follow-through and accountability
  • A strong communicator with executive presence
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and evolving environments
  • Solutions-oriented and entrepreneurial
  • Excited by mission-driven and liberation-centered work
  • Able to balance warmth, strategy, and direct communication
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in consulting sales, business development, partnerships, or account management
  • Experience managing pipelines in HubSpot or similar CRM systems
  • Experience selling high-value services or consulting packages
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Experience working with schools, nonprofits, behavioral health organizations, or mission-driven organizations preferred
  • Familiarity with equity-centered, justice-oriented, or liberation-focused work strongly preferred
  • U.S.-based and authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation & Structure
  • Base compensation: $2,500–$2,900/month DOE
  • Expected schedule: approximately 15–20 hours/week
  • Remote position (U.S.-based required)
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Quarterly performance bonuses available based on consulting revenue growth, package sales, and strategic partnership outcomes
What Success Looks Like
  • Increased consulting package sales
  • Increased conversion of leads into signed contracts
  • Strong pipeline organization and follow-through
  • Consistent movement from inquiry → consultation → signed agreement
  • Increased long-term organizational partnerships
