DeepSig Inc. is a venture-backed, product-centric technology startup building revolutionary wireless processing software solutions using cutting-edge machine learning techniques. Our technology is transforming baseband processing, wireless sensing, spectrum awareness, signal intelligence, and other critical wireless applications for defense, security, and commercial customers.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to support and grow DeepSig’s business development efforts with a primary focus on the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, Department of the Navy, and related defense customers. The successful candidate should also bring familiarity with Navy and Marine Corps Program Executive Offices, Systems Commands, Fleet Marine Force and fleet priorities, acquisition priorities, requirements organizations, and the broader Department of the Navy stakeholder environment. They will be comfortable engaging with technical teams, learning complex AI/ML and wireless technologies, and helping translate DeepSig’s capabilities into mission-relevant solutions for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other DoD stakeholders. This position will work closely with senior leadership, engineering, and business development team members to support pipeline development, customer outreach, partner engagement, pursuit activities, and public-facing customer briefings.

  • Conduct market research on Navy and Marine Corps priorities, Program Executive Office needs, Fleet and Fleet Marine Force requirements, funding trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity across the wireless, EW, SIGINT, ISR, communications, maritime, expeditionary, and defense technology markets.
  • Assist in developing customer and stakeholder maps across the Navy, Marine Corps, Department of the Navy Program Executive Offices, Systems Commands, Fleet and Fleet Marine Force organizations, acquisition organizations, warfare centers, defense agencies, and industry partners.
  • Support outreach to government customers, prime contractors, systems integrators, and technology partners involved in Navy, Marine Corps, EW, SIGINT, ISR, maritime communications, expeditionary communications, and spectrum-related programs.
  • Help prepare briefing materials, capability statements, proposals, white papers, presentations, and customer follow-up materials for senior government, military, and industry audiences.
  • Lead or support customer meetings, industry events, conferences, demonstrations, and speaking opportunities to promote DeepSig’s AI/ML-enabled wireless processing capabilities.
  • Work with internal engineering, product, operations, and finance teams to align customer needs with DeepSig’s technical solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities, customer interactions, sales cycle stages, and next steps in the company’s CRM system.
  • Support proposal development, capture planning, and pursuit coordination for Navy, Marine Corps, Department of the Navy, and broader DoD opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates on business development activities, opportunity status, customer feedback, and pipeline progress.
  • Build a strong working understanding of DeepSig’s AI/ML software products, wireless processing capabilities, and mission applications.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience or exposure to wireless systems, including one or more of the following: electronic warfare systems, SIGINT systems, RF sensing, spectrum operations, tactical communications, software-defined radios, signal collection, or defense communications systems.
  • Familiarity with Navy and Marine Corps Program Executive Offices, Systems Commands, acquisition processes, mission priorities, requirements organizations, and the broader Department of the Navy stakeholder community.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. defense market, DoD organizations, defense contractors, or government contracting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, public policy, international affairs, national security, alternatively military experience, prior service, or direct experience supporting military customers or national security missions is strongly preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills, including the ability to summarize technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences and present confidently to senior government, military, and industry stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver polished briefings, capability overviews, conference talks, and customer presentations that clearly communicate technical value and mission impact.
  • Ability to understand and communicate the mission relevance of wireless, RF, EW, SIGINT, and AI/ML-enabled technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
