We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technology initiatives across diverse teams and business functions. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initial planning through execution and successful delivery. You'll collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive projects forward, manage change, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the planning, development, execution, and administration of assigned IT projects across a range of methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
  • Translate business needs into actionable project plans by working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Define project scope, create schedules, assign resources, estimate costs, and manage budgets
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to maintain momentum and ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders through regular status reports, progress updates, and executive briefings
  • Facilitate and document key meetings including kickoffs, stand-ups, stakeholder reviews, and retrospectives
  • Support or lead individual workstreams within larger programs run by other Project or Program Managers
  • Manage project documentation, meeting minutes, task tracking, benefits realization metrics, and closure reports
  • Ensure successful handover of projects to operations and production support teams
  • Follow and contribute to the Continuous Improvement initiatives of the IT PMO, helping to evolve and refine project delivery practices

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of IT Project Management or Project Leadership experience in fast-paced, complex environments
  • Post-secondary degree, certificate, or equivalent education and experience in Computer Science and/or Information Technology
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis and change management
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, define priorities, and drive projects towards clear outcomes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard project management tools (e.g.: Smartsheet, MS Project)
  • Experience working within a variety of project management methodologies (e.g.: Waterfall, Agile)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with consulting partners, technology vendors, and cross-functional teams 

  • Ability to travel internationally (up to 20%)

Preferred Characteristics:

  • PMP or equivalent certification (or in progress)
  • Experience leading ERP or other software implementations
  • Proven ability to manage projects across co-located and remote teams
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools, SDLC tools, or enterprise software platforms
  • Experience working within regulated environments, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and other governance or regulatory frameworks
  • Background in Aerospace, Manufacturing, or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) is an asset
