  • Design scalable systems that increase efficiency while maintaining editorial quality and governance.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve speed, consistency and collaboration.
  • Develop repeatable processes that support growth across multiple content channels and business units.
  • Establish operational standards, documentation and best practices across editorial teams.

AI Workflow Management & Automation

  • Design, implement and manage AI-assisted editorial workflows across the organization.
  • Evaluate and deploy tools that improve productivity, content creation and operational efficiency.
  • Build and optimize workflows including:
  • Transcript-to-article generation
  • AI-assisted research and briefing
  • Event content atomization
  • Content summarization and clipping
  • Newsletter drafting support
  • Metadata enrichment
  • Tagging and taxonomy management
  • Workflow automation between editorial systems
  • Develop governance frameworks that ensure responsible, transparent and effective use of AI technologies.
  • Monitor workflow performance and identify opportunities for further automation and optimization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on emerging AI applications for media and publishing.

Content Asset, Transcript & Knowledge Management

  • Create and manage a centralized editorial knowledge infrastructure that supports content creation, discovery and reuse.
  • Develop systems for organizing and maintaining:
  • Interview transcripts
  • Event recordings
  • Panel discussions
  • Podcast assets
  • Video footage
  • Awards and judging materials
  • Research interviews
  • Commercial and client-related content resources
  • Establish searchable, structured repositories that enable editorial teams to efficiently locate and repurpose content assets.
  • Ensure content assets are properly tagged, categorized and maintained according to organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with technology and product teams to improve discoverability and knowledge-sharing capabilities.

Editorial Technology & Product Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary operational partner between editorial, product and engineering teams.
  • Help define requirements for editorial tools, publishing systems and workflow enhancements.
  • Participate in testing, implementation and adoption of new technologies and platform improvements.
  • Drive integration between content management systems, AI tools, analytics platforms and workflow applications.
  • Advocate for editorial needs within broader technology and product initiatives.

Data, Governance & Operational Excellence

  • Establish and maintain editorial data standards, workflows and governance frameworks.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity and content output.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting systems and workflow metrics to support decision-making.
