Job description

Sales at Brex

The Sales team is the driving factor behind revenue for Brex and every member of our team directly affects our bottom line. We focus on generating new opportunities, acquiring new customers, and building even stronger relationships with our current customers. Our winning culture recognizes big team wins and celebrates individual accomplishments. We ensure that top performers are recognized and have built a competitive environment to motivate and unify the team.

What you'll do

Brex is looking for an individual to join the Revenue Operations Team as the dedicated RevOps partner to our Startups segment, one of the highest-growth parts of our business. You'll own operations across the Startups motion, supporting both our Partnerships and Account Executive teams. You'll be the single point of RevOps ownership for the segment, which means wearing many hats, moving fast, and driving multiple priorities forward at once with high autonomy.

You should have an analytical mindset with a curiosity to get to the right solution to every problem, paired with the scrappiness and bias for action that thrive in a startup-like environment. The ability to translate data into insights is critical as you will work closely with your Revenue Operations peers, enablement, finance, systems, data, and revenue teams. You are also skilled at up-leveling complex data and insights to clearly communicate with business partners, GTM managers, and the CRO to improve performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the dedicated RevOps partner to the Startups revenue org, supporting both the Partnerships and AE teams
  • Be a trusted business partner with GTM Leaders in improving the strategy, coverage model, operating rhythm, and incentive compensation structure to drive revenue growth
  • Manage a broad and shifting set of priorities simultaneously, independently prioritizing where your time drives the most impact
  • Collaborate with enablement, data, finance, systems, marketing, operations, and other revenue operations team members to support your business and implement improvements
  • Own reporting and analyzing the forecast, pipeline, sales capacity, rep productivity, territory carving, incentive design, and variable compensation for your GTM team
  • Identify, analyze, scope, and run operational projects that drive revenue growth or improve the efficiency of Startups GTM teams
  • Report on projects or team performance to senior leadership, showing a clear narrative and understanding of business dynamics
  • Drive the annual planning process working closely with business partners, finance, and other teams to balance various goals and requirements
  • Monitor ROE escalations and improve on ROE to drive increased clarity and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, sales strategy, business operations, sales finance, or similar; preferably at a Fintech or SaaS company
  • Bonus: Direct experience running RevOps at an early-stage or high-growth startup, where you owned a wide scope and operated with limited resources
  • Experience supporting multiple GTM teams (e.g., Partnerships and closing roles)
  • Proven ability to manage many workstreams at once and thrive amid ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid change
  • Demonstrated success operating in a cross functional environment and delivering results
  • Strong problem solving skills and collaborative approach to solutioning
  • Ability to influence without authority and strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce and other GTM systems, including workflows between GTM teams
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to quickly interpret data and do deeper analyses
  • Must be willing to work in office 3x per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • Strong attention to detail including in documentation and communication

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $117,600 - $147,000. However, the starting base pay will depend on several factors, including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
