Job description

Reporting to the Plant Finance Manager, you will perform highly complex financial analysis and reporting for assigned business areas with minimal supervision. You will serve as a trusted finance business partner, providing insights and recommendations that support decision-making, forecasting, planning, and operational performance. You will lead small projects and guide less experienced team members while supporting financial planning and analysis activities, annual operating planning, strategic planning, forecasting, reporting, and period close activities.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as a business partner on accounting and finance-related matters, assessing business needs, identifying risks and opportunities, and communicating financial results and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Participate in the preparation and compilation of annual operating plans and strategic plans for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Update quarterly forecasts based on changing business conditions and provide actionable, forward-looking analysis regarding variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead assigned month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and resolution of unusual items and issues.
  • Develop financial analyses, models, and reporting to support business initiatives, customer analysis, pricing decisions, investment evaluations, and other operational needs.
  • Support projects across multiple finance disciplines, including financial planning and analysis, product development, capital investments, and in-market initiatives.
  • Develop, monitor, and communicate metrics, scorecards, and financial reporting for assigned functions.
  • Provide financial planning and analysis support for ad hoc requests and special projects.
  • Participate in and lead finance-wide initiatives based on business priorities.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree.
  • 3+ years of professional finance, accounting, or related business experience.
  • Experience with profit and loss management, financial systems, and general accounting concepts.
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and evolving business needs.
  • Experience building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and collaborating across multiple departments.
  • Experience analyzing data and leveraging insights to develop meaningful strategies and recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using SAP or similar enterprise systems preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
