Pay Range: $21-24/hour depending on experience

OVERALL SUMMARY

This position requires the ability to sell parts as well as provide customer service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Ability to service incoming phone calls, emails and online inquiries from distributors and customers.
  • Create accurate quotes and sales orders and keep customers informed on order status.
  • Look up all relevant data regarding the parts being quoted and sold.
  • Convert customer needs into sales.
  • Make sure all parts are ready to ship on time and collaborate with the Shipping Team.
  • Punctual and regular attendance required.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Individual must possess these knowledge’s, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

  • Knowledge of Elliott Equipment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to provide customer service
  • Experience using computers including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to provide professional written and oral communication
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, supervisors, vendors, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to attend to visual and written detail in order to identify errors
  • Ability to function effectively as a team player.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Elliott parts knowledge preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Cranes, Aerial Work Platforms and Digger Derricks, a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to read reports and use a computer
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to climb, stoop and kneel
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push
