We’re hiring a Part-time Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Northwest Houston area client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
  1. Job Title: Part-time Shipping & Receiving Associate
  2. Location: Northwest Houston
  3. Pay: $20-$22/hr.
  4. Hours: 10am – 2pm M-F
  5. Duration: Temp-to-Hire
  6. Description of Duties: Process all inbound & outbound shipments; Verify and record shipment data; Unload and inspect shipments; Process returned /damaged goods; Maintain clean warehouse; Manage product inventory; Contact vendors regarding shipment delays and inform customers of status; Negotiate with freight companies to secure best pricing
  7. Requirements: 3+ years’ logistics experience; Experience with ERP/CRM software and MS Office Suite; Knowledge of dangerous / hazardous goods storage and transportation; Knowledge of international shipping requirements; Valid driver’s license; Recent forklift certification required
