Qualifications

  • Motivated and dependable individual who can work alone or with a group in a minimally supervised environment.
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Prior cleaning experience is a plus
  • Ability to use mobile apps (applications)
Responsibilities

    • Custodial staff members may be assigned to provide cleaning services to school buildings, offices, or light industrial facilities according to the cleaning specs of each building.

    • Cleaning responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
    • Collect trash and replace trash can liners
    • Clean, sanitize, and supply restrooms
    • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
    • Wipe windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
    • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
    • Dust and clean overhead vent
    • Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the custodian's closet
    • Communicate with Lead to ensure cleaning quality and customer service
    • Follow all safety guidelines
    • Follow proper procedures in the use of cleaning solutions, equipment, and tools according to specifications.
    • Report any abnormal activities or conditions to Lead.
    • Ensure all chemicals and equipment needed are available and in working order.
