Job description

We are in search of an energetic, diligent, amiable, responsible individual to serve on our administrative team. As a receptionist, you will be responsible to operate a multi-line telephone system to transfer calls to appropriate personnel, answer fundamental questions pertaining to the company; as well as complete a variety of administrative duties. Such as but not limited to assisting families with questions, assisting with orientation materials, assistant management with day-to-day assignments. The right person will assist during the week and possible a rotating weekend shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Retrieve messages from voicemail and forward to appropriate personnel.
  • Answer incoming calls, determine purpose of calls, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department.
  • Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
  • Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
  • Maintains security and telecommunications system.
  • Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
  • Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges when/if needed.
  • Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
