BPR Consulting Group (www.bpr-grp.com) is seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to support our growing team and assist in the development of high-quality proposals and marketing materials for public and private sector pursuits.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills who can manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This role works closely with technical staff, leadership, and marketing personnel to develop compelling content that clearly communicates BPR's expertise and value to prospective clients.

Essential Duties:

The essential duties noted below are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, functions, and skills. They are intended to be a summary of key job responsibilities and duties.

Review and analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and similar solicitations to determine submission requirements and response strategy.

Coordinate proposal kick-off meetings, establish schedules, and monitor progress to ensure all deadlines and submission requirements are met.

Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and prepare proposal content.

Draft and edit proposal sections such as executive summaries, cover letters, and other narrative components.

Manage the proposal development process including document organization, internal reviews, and final approvals.

Ensure all proposal materials meet client requirements and follow company branding, formatting, and quality standards.

Perform proofreading, editing, and formatting of proposal documents for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency.

Assemble and prepare final proposal packages for electronic or hard-copy submission.

Conduct background research on potential clients, competitors, and project opportunities.

Assist with interview preparation materials and presentation development when proposals advance to the interview stage.

Participate in proposal debriefs and lessons-learned reviews to improve future submissions.

Support the development and maintenance of marketing content, including project descriptions, staff resumes, and other proposal resources.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Approximately 3-5 years of experience in proposal development or marketing, ideally within the A/E/C industry or government contracting environment.

Demonstrated ability to interpret solicitation requirements and develop organized, strategic responses.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with strong attention to detail.

Ability to clearly communicate complex technical information in a concise and compelling manner.

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Experience working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
