Job description

WKBN-TV in Youngstown, Ohio has an opening for a motivated, goal-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Production Associate. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety in their work, and can adapt to a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate studio and remote cameras for newscasts, sporting events, and shoots for commercials, promotions, and public service announcements.
  • Create on-air graphics for television newscasts and digital platforms.
  • Input content and data into our websites.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Strong artistic sense and computer proficiency-experience with Photoshop is a plus.
  • Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems is helpful but not required.
  • Background in television or post-production is a bonus but not required.

What We're Looking For:
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, prioritize assignments, and consistently meet tight deadlines.
  • A team player who communicates effectively and collaborates well with anchors, video journalists, videographers, producers, and technical staff.
  • A working knowledge of TV production processes is helpful.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. We're open to candidates who are still working toward their degrees.
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
