We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern to provide part-time administrative and project support to GrayMatter's Talent Acquisition team. This role will primarily support the University Recruiter with activities related to GrayMatter's Launch Lab university recruiting program while also assisting a Corporate Recruiter with recruiting coordination and administrative tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity for a current college student or recent graduate interested in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or Recruiting to gain hands-on experience in a corporate recruiting environment.
This is a 3-month remote internship based in the United States and requires approximately 15 hours per week. Occasional travel may be required to support university recruiting events, career fairs, on-site team meetings, or other Talent Acquisition activities.
General Job Duties:
  • Assist the University Recruiter with campus recruiting administration, including maintaining university contacts, tracking career fairs and events, coordinating event logistics, organizing and shipping recruiting materials.
  • Support recruiters with interview scheduling, candidate communications, follow-up, and other coordination activities to help create a positive candidate experience.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate candidate and requisition information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), updating candidate records, and supporting recruiting reports and tracking.
  • Assist with sourcing research, university research, recruiting data updates, and other projects that support Talent Acquisition and improve recruiting processes.
  • Provide additional administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team as needed, including preparing materials, organizing information, and completing assigned projects.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach to interacting with candidates and internal team members.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and the ability to learn new systems and technology.
Preferred:
  • Previous internship, part-time, volunteer, or academic experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or an administrative role.
  • Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), HRIS, Handshake, or university career center recruiting activities.
  • Interest in recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, consulting, or other technical industries.
