Job description

Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club in St. George, UT is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of part-time Wellness Center Front Desk Agent. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused in providing superior customer service.
General purpose:
Provides support to the Wellness center including greeting members and performing administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities for the Wellness Center Front Desk Agent:
  • Greets guests upon arrival and departure to wellness center.
  • Checks member identification card and validates guest participation.
  • Distributes and controls locker keys and towels.
  • Signs in members and guests, advising them of rules and procedures of the wellness center.
  • Monitors activities in indoor/outdoor aquatic areas, exercise equipment room, aerobic room, and locker rooms, through visual surveillance.
  • Reports safety concerns to supervisor.
  • Adjusts music and/or television equipment as needed.
  • Performs minor custodial duties to include wiping down machines, picking up discarded items, etc. Helps to keep fitness center neat and tidy.
  • Performs opening and closing duties at wellness center when required.
  • Responds to emergency situations, as dictated by facility policy.
  • Answers phones and guest inquiries.
  • Completes daily task list.
  • Assists Fitness Director and provides basic instruction to equipment users.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications for the Wellness Center Front Desk Agent:
  •  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one year administrative experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  •  Must be 18 years of age.
Other Qualifications:
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Weekday availability and some weekends are needed.
