Part-Time Volleyball Coach Gorin Sports Academy | Tukwila/Bellevue, WA Are you passionate about volleyball and excited to help young athletes grow both on and off the court? Gorin Sports Academy is seeking a Part-Time Volleyball Coach to support our expanding volleyball program at our brand-new Tukwila facility, opening early 2026 (targeting February). This role is ideal for a coach who enjoys hands-on instruction, flexibility, and being part of a collaborative coaching team, with strong opportunities for growth as the program develops. Projected Start Date Early 2026 (Target: April) Hiring now to prepare for program launch Note: Even though our Tukwila facility is now open, volleyball programming will continue to be based primarily in Bellevue through May 2026, with a gradual transition to Tukwila as the facility becomes fully operational. Role Overview This is a part-time, flexible coaching position designed to support our Head Volleyball Coach. You will assist during team tournaments and step in to independently run clinics and mini group sessions when the Head Coach is traveling with teams. The coach may also be pulled in to assist with additional clinics as program needs arise. As our Tukwila facility opens and the volleyball program continues to grow, this role offers significant opportunities for increased hours and responsibility. Coaches will have the opportunity to lead additional clinics, take on a larger instructional role, or step into a team coaching position as the program expands. What You'll Do • Assist the Head Volleyball Coach during team practices, tournaments, and events • Travel locally with teams when needed • Lead volleyball clinics and mini group sessions independently when the Head Coach is at tournaments • Occasionally assist with or lead additional clinics based on program needs • Coach athletes of varying skill levels, from beginners to intermediate and advanced players • Run engaging drills focused on fundamentals, skill development, and game play • Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment • Provide constructive feedback to build confidence, discipline, and teamwork • Support daily operations including equipment setup, breakdown, and court logistics What We're Looking For Passion for volleyball and youth development Prior coaching experience or high-level playing background required Ability to confidently lead clinics and small groups independently Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Reliable, energetic, and adaptable coaching presence Availability for evenings and weekends Flexibility to cover clinics and practices when the Head Coach is at tournaments Why Join Gorin Sports?   • Nav Dayal won the Little Mo West Regional Championships in the 8's category on September 16, 2015, and continued on to Nationals.
  • Dmitry Tursunov returned after spending a year recovering from an injury to win the doubles title with partner Andrey Rublev at ATP Kremlincup on October 25, 2015.
  • Stefan Leustian won Le Petit As, the prestigious world indoor championships on February 2, 2016. Stefan competed as a member of the USTA team in the 14's junior tournament.
  • Anas Abdelouahid became one of the top-ranked players at Tennis Recruiting on March 1, 2016. He started tennis classes at Gorin Tennis Academy three and a half years prior, with no ranking whatsoever in the challenger-level tournaments.
  • Arin Pallegar reached the finals of the boys' 12 challenger in Manteca at the age of 8 on April 9, 2016.
  • Nav Dayal and Pranay Dayal, brothers, swept the Little Mo West regionals on August 10, 2016. Nav won the 9-year-old age division, and Pranay won the 12-year-old age division.
