Job description

About Achievement Behavior Care (ABC) Services: ABC Services is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy agency providing personalized home-based direct services to students with the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We are dedicated to the mission of connecting children with the diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families with ABA tools, principals, and practices for continued success and independence during their school-aged years (We serve clients between the ages of 3 and 23 years of age). At the leadership of LCSWs and BCBAs, we have been learning and growing as an ABA agency since 2015. We are seeking an early-afternoon & weekend ABA Behavior Technician to join our network of ABA professionals. This BT must be available to provide ABA services for students between the hours of 4:15 and 6:15 Tuesday through Wednesday and 11AM - 1PM on Saturday and Sundays

We're looking for an ABA Behavior Technician (BT) who can make a Strong Commitment and Dedication to one of our 11 year old clients in Pearl River, NY. This BT will help the student and their family towards continued success with throughout their school-aged life transitions. The most successful BTs are thoughtful, engaging, and passionate with their interactions with students, caregivers, supervisors, and colleagues, alike.


Behavior Technician Tasks:

  • Measure, assess, and document skill acquisition of student's progress on the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP)

  • 1:1 Goal-oriented, in home, direct service work with a student involving implementation of ABA approaches including but not limited to discrete trial teaching, prompting, modeling, redirection, reinforcements, and reward-systems.

  • Thorough and comprehensive session-to-session documentation, data analysis, and billing.

  • Actively engaging with clinical direction and professional feedback from BCBA supervisor(s)

  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients or students, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkers
