What is a part time wedding musician?

Part time wedding musicians are professional or semi-professional performers who provide live music for wedding ceremonies, receptions, or related events on a part-time basis. They may specialize in vocals, instruments, or ensembles such as string quartets, jazz bands, or solo performers. These musicians often work with couples to select appropriate music, attend rehearsals, and perform during key moments of the wedding day. Because they work part time, they may have other jobs or commitments and typically perform at weddings on weekends or evenings. Their flexibility and expertise make them a popular choice for couples seeking personalized, live music for their special day.
